⭐️ Love working with clients who are ready to see real changes ❤️

Before becoming a counsellor, I had no boundaries. I would say yes to everything with little regard for myself and what I wanted. I felt like I could read others emotions and would adjust myself to suit them 🫠

It was exhausting! 😫

For a really long time I didn’t know how to protect my energy or to voice what I needed 🤐

I learnt to keep the peace, blend in and put others first. The cost was at my own expense-

Burnout, anxiety and loss of identity 🥺

Starting therapy was a game changer for me, I was able to unpack my “whys’ without judgement, offer myself compassion and acceptance and start setting those much needed boundaries. 💪

If you’re feeling emotionally exhausted and fed up of people pleasing much like I was, you’re in the right place

My Why…

My Crazy Boy Morris

💚 I am a down to earth, warm and accepting person and like to think this comes across in my counselling sessions.

💚I am extremely passionate about the work I do and have always been drawn to helping and listening to others. I have always felt most fulfilled when I am in jobs (both counselling and non-counselling) which involve helping people. The happiness I get from seeing a client make connections in sessions and having that “ah ha” moment is indescribable.

💚I have had the privilege of working alongside many clients who have come seeking support for an array of different reasons, including but not limited to; Eating disorders, low self esteem, transitioning, post natal depression , body dysmorphia , grief , relationship difficulties , bullying , post traumatic stress disorder, abuse, self-harm, anxiety, stress, depression, low confidence and neurodivergence.

💚As a practicing counsellor, I keep my skills and knowledge up to date through continued professional development (CPD) courses. I also attend regular supervision once a month as recommended by the BACP to ensure my practice is meeting standards and maintaining professional and ethical boundaries.
